The photographic light that I use for the photographs of everything in both of my shops was handed down to me by my father. I believe it was a gift to him from my mother, and it is about fifteen years
older than I am.
The precious lightbulb had been going strong for 30+ years, until the entire tripod fell flat on its face just the other day.
The light is German made, and somewhat obsolete. By "somewhat", I mean all the websites I found regarding the maker were in German, and/or the actual replacement bulbs were not for sale. But after pulling out some serious Nancy Drew style googling skills, I found a match for the bulb.
It's backordered until two weeks from now.
